MILAN D. RISTIC, Foreign Member of the AESS from 2007, born on 10.07.1939 in Nis, son of Dusan and Cvetanka, née Jovanovic-Slavinski. He has finished the elementary school and secondary school in his place of birth. He studied at the agricultural faculty of the university in Belgrade - Zemun and in Sarajevo breeding animals science, where he closed 1962 with diploma. After completion of the military service he worked as head of the breeding animals production in Aleksinac and Mozgovo. Because of specialization in the breeding animals production he worked from June 1965 on at Dr. A. Weiler, Kirchberg, circle Horb in Germany. From March 1968 to June 1971 he was doctorand and research assistant at the University of Stuttgart -Hohenheim, institute for animal keeping and breeding, faculty for poultry breeding (Professor Dr. Dr. S. Scholtyssek). Day of the graduation was 07.01.1971 with following theme: "Influences of the slaughter methodology on the quality of broiler - carcasses". From August 1971 to July 2004 active as scientific staff member at the Federal Research Institute for Nourishment and Foods, Institute for Meat Production and Marketing, head of the section for poultry production.

As part of his scientific activity Dr. Ristic takes care of 93 projects in cooperation with other institutes both from Germany as well as from other European countries. These results contain the influences of the storage temperature and duration of poultry concerning the meat quality, the age of broilers, influence of the breed of different fowl kinds, influence of the slaughtering methodology as well as the differences between poultry meat in comparison with beef and pork.

He is member of the World Poultry Science Association, German group since 1971, as well as member of the team for poultry meat quality, the World Rabbit Science Association, German group since 1989. Furthermore he was active in following European organizations: UNO - ECE - Standard of Poultry Meat and Explanatory Brochure, Gent (1982 - 1990), COST 91, Sub-Group 3, Quality for Poultry meat in the European union (1981-1985), stay in Greece, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain Italy, Spain and Denmark, SCAR Working Group, Poultry Meat Quality - freezing and thawing (1981-1985), Water in Poultry Working Group/EU Brussels (1981-1998), Quality control DLG for meat products (1976-2000), German Society for Animal Production (1973-2004).

Participated in national and international congresses and symposia in the time of 1972-2008 with altogether 174 lectures in following countries: Germany, GDR, Yugoslavia, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Denmark, in the USA, Spain, CSSR, Poland, Malta, Brazil, Italy, Finland, Japan, Greece, in the Netherlands, Canada and Australia. Since 1974 he gives lessons at the State Technical College for Food Technology in Kulmbach in the field "production and quality of poultry meat”. Since 1982 he has an indenture at the university of Kassel, GhK Witzenhausen, technology of the animal production - quality of the poultry meat and eggs and the University Anhalt (FH), FB agriculture, eco-trophology, field cultivation, Bernburg, in the field “quality of agricultural products”.

In the time of 2001 to 2003, as part of the DAAD - special program "Academical Rebuilding of South-East Europe" Dr. Ristic had the chance to give lectures at the agricultural faculties in Cacak, Novi Sad and Belgrade, as well as at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade.

МИЛАН Д.РИСТИЋ, инострани члан АИНС од 2007., рођен је 10.07.1939. године у Нишу, од оца Душана и мајке Цватанке, рођене Јовановић-Славински.Основну школу , као и гимназију завршио је у месту рођења.Студирао је на Пољопривредном факултету у Београду-Земун и у Сарајеву, сточарски одсек, где је 1962 године дипломирао.После служења војне обавезе, радио је као руководилац сточарске производње код ЗЗ у Алексинцу и у Мозгову.Од јуна 1965 године ради код фирме Dr. A. Weiler, Kirchberg, Horb, на специјализацији у сточарској производњи.Од марта 1968 до јуна 1971 године ради као докторант и научни асистент на Универзитету Štuttgart – Hohenheim, институт за узгој и држање стоке, катедра за живинарство (Prof. Dr. S. Scholtyssek). Од августа 1971 до јула 2004 године ради као научни сарадник на Савезном заводу за науку о месу у Kulmbach-u, институт за производњу меса, руководилац оделења за живинарску производњу и квалитет живинског меса.

За време његове научне делатности је др Ристић 93 пројекта испитао и у заједничком раду са другим институтима пратио, како у Немачкој, тако и у осталим европским земљама на западу и истоку Европе. Резултати обухватају утицај температуре и дужине лагеровања различите живине у односу на квалитет меса, старост бројлера за квалитет меса и вредности приликом продаје, утицај порекла различитих хибрида од бројлера, ћурака, патака и гусака, утицај методике клања живине, као и разлике између живинског меса и меса од свиња и говеда.

Члан је World Poultry Science Association, Deutsche Gruppe од 1971 године, као и члан оделења за квалитет живинског меса World Rabbit Science Association – Deutsche Gruppe од 1989 године. Активно ради и у следећим европским организацијама: UNO-ECE-Standard of Poultry Meat and Explanatory Brochure, Gent, на стандардизацији живинског меса (1982-1990), COST 91, Sub-Group 3, квалитет живинског меса у Европској унији (1981-1985). Боравио је у Грчкој, Француској, Холандији, Енглеској, Италији, Шпанији и Данској, SCAR Working Group, Poultry Meat Quality – Gefrieren und Auftauen (1981-1985), Water in Poultry Working Group/ EU Brüssel (1981-1998), Qualitätsprüfung DLG za Fleischwaren (1976-2000), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Züchtungskunde (1973-2004).

Учествовао је на националним и интернационалним конгресима и симпозијумима од 1972-2008 године.

Са укупно 174 предавања у следећим земљама: Немачка, ДДР, Југославија, Француска, Енглеска, Мађарска, Данска, САД, Шпанија Чехословачка, Пољска, Малта, Бразил, Италија, Финска, Јапан, Грчка, Холандија, Канада и Аустралија. Од 1974 године предаје на државној стручној школи за технологију животних намирница у Kulmbach-у предмет ”Производња и квалитет живинског меса”, а од 1982 године је на универзитету Kassel, GhK Witzenhausen, на предмету “Технологија сточарских производа-квалитет живинског меса и јаја“. Од 2005.године предаје исто на Hochschule Anhalt(FH), FB Landwirtschaft, Ökotrophologie, Landespflege, Bernburg, предмет „Квалитет пољопривредних производа”. У времену од 2001-до 2003.године преко DAAD Soderprogramm” Akademischer Neuaufbau Südosteuropa”.Др Ристић је имао прилику да држи предавања на пољопривредном факултету у Чачку, Новом Саду и Београду, као и на Ветеринарском факултету у Београду.
